Location Shoot: Dusty & Sarah

I love showing off my family, so when Dusty and Sarah called me to take their pictures.... of COURSE I said yes. I was excited about trying out a new location and new ideas, and I was absolutely thrilled at how the images came out. Even through the freezing cold, goose poop, and Dusty locking my keys in the van.... we had a blast.

Dusty and Sarah: I love you both with all of my heart. Dusty, I am extremely proud of you, your great ideas, and your patience with taking so many photos. Sarah, you're absolutely beautiful inside and out, and don't let anyone tell you different.

Beach Photos

I think the hardest pictures to take are the ones that include yourself. Take a good look, because this is a rare opportunity to see the photographer in front of the camera, as opposed to behind it. Our vacation was nice, but as always too short. This was Gigi's first time at the ocean, so it was a little special for us. You always have this perfect image in your head of how your child's first time at the ocean is... and never ends up the way you have it planned out. She loved the ocean (as long as we were holding her by the arms yelling "Whee.....", which of course made the arm muscles sore by the time the week was out), but hated the sand. The boys learned how to boogie board for the first time. Matthew of course was a natural... and Michael... might have had more fun shopping .

Location Shoot: Rock House Shoot

This is one of my favorite shoots. I love the Rock House location, because of the detail, it's rustic feel, and the color it gives off in the colored images. April is one of my favorite models, and it doesn't hurt that the camera absolutely loves her.

I love this one because it symbolizes her faith

This has to be one of my favorite shots of all time.
